People are being warned about fraud after an elderly man had money stolen.
The incident happened at about midday on Thursday, May 4, on Bell Lane in Kesgrave.
The victim, a man aged in his 80s, was on his driveway when he was approached by a man who offered to carry out some work on his car.
The suspect then drove the victim to a cashpoint to withdraw a sum of money in advance of the work taking place.
The man took the money but did not return.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, overweight with fair/grey balding hair and was wearing a black tracksuit.
Witnesses or anyone who has had a similar approach recently should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime number 37/26260/23.
