A new learning centre which will cater for children of all ages has officially opened.
Kip McGrath Education Centres can be found in Falcon Street in Ipswich after opening the doors last weekend.
The learning centre which offers English and Maths tuition catered for the student opened in the former Luna Bar and Lounge.
Kip McGrath, which has over 270 locations, has had a premises in Colchester for the past few years and noticed how successful that one had been so wanted to bring one to Ipswich.
Reenu Gupta, centre director, said: "We noticed there was nothing like this here, so we wanted to open a bigger space in Ipswich, and this was in a good location.
"The footfall is good, it's in a nice location with lots of people passing through it.
"It is easily accessible as well, being opposite a car park.
"We have applied for Ofsted registration here as well."
The centre has 11 fully qualified teachers and there is also always a paediatric first aid trainer on site.
Children get a free first assessment to identify what the child's learning level is and based on that, everyone receives a personalised lesson plan so they get the one to one attention from the teachers.
"Our aim is to provide that extra support which they might not get in schools in a larger group of 30 students," Reenu continued.
"Here, we have that one-to-one attention and that can help grow a child's confidence.
"We have seen the difference in performances at school, and parents have come back to us with positive feedback, which is really motivating to us."
The centre has capacity for 15 students in each batch, offering from year one to GCSE level.
