The duo behind a successful Pan-Asian restaurant are getting ready to launch their latest venture this summer.

Brothers Joey and Louis James teamed up to open Big Bro Bao at Beach Street, Felixstowe's street food hub, in January this year.

Since opening the Pan-Asian restaurant has been popular, with there being a three-week wait for tables at one point.

Now the pair are planning to open a new eatery at the seaside location.

Old Skool Afterz will be taking over the former Cozy Aromas unit serving donuts and desserts.

The brothers described the new venture as an "all-new nostalgic dessert brand" taking inspiration from school desserts from the eighties and nineties and combining them with retro TV shows to create a unique dessert and donut experience.

They said: "Whether it's building your own crumble or indulging in an old school cake donut dipper box all wash down with iconic drinks like Sunny D, Ribena, Squeeze It and Big Time Squash cups, Old Skool Afterz has something for everyone."

It is expected the new dessert eatery will be opening in mid-June.
