A 56-year-old-man has denied charges of assault, strangulation and criminal damage.
Rupert Crossfield, of Edgeworth Road, Ipswich, was before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in October last year, two counts of intentional strangulation, intimidation of a witness, assault by beating and damaging a phone.
All of the offences are alleged to have been against the same woman.
The defendant denies all charges.
The trial date was set for the warned list of August 12 this year.
