Three engines attend car fire on Felixstowe Road in Ipswich

A road was closed after a car fire broke out near Ipswich.

Three fire crews from Ipswich East and Felixstowe attended the car fire on Felixstowe Road, near Seven Hills, just after 1.30pm on Monday. 

Suffolk Police also attended the incident at 1.35pm and closed the road at 1.51pm.

Suffolk Highways were involved and recovery has removed the vehicle.

The fire service called a stop time at 2.12pm and the road was cleared just after 3pm.
