Music students at Suffolk New College were able to gain some first-hand industry experience at Latitude last weekend – with two students securing work placements.
A group of students were issued backstage passes to find out how the festival operates, following a similar trip to the 02 Arena in London.
Students Jordan Hay and Sam Garland meanwhile secured work placements as production assistant and artist liaison (supporting bands before and after they go on stage) respectively.
Course music tutor at Suffolk New College, Nigel Champion, said: “This has become a bit of an annual outing for our students and it’s such a great opportunity for them to see what goes on at one of the biggest festivals in the country.
“It’s a great experience to add to their CVs and we would like to thank the festival and the creative and cultural skills team for this amazing opportunity.”
