A tree came down at a busy road junction in Ipswich earlier this afternoon, bringing down overhead cables and causing traffic problems – however it has now been cleared.
Police were called at 4.15pm this evening to reports a small tree had fallen down in Foxhall Road at the junction with Bell Lane.
The tree reportedly took down some cables and was affecting traffic flow in the Foxhall and Kesgrave areas.
However, it was cleared at 5.45pm and Suffolk Highways have stayed on the scene to clear the additional debris.
