POLICE are appealing for information after a 13-year-old girl was accosted in Ipswich.The incident happened on London Road at approximately 8.40pm on Monday.

POLICE are appealing for information after a 13-year-old girl was accosted in Ipswich.

The incident happened on London Road at approximately 8.40pm on Monday.

As the youngster was walking along the street a man cycled up to her and made an inappropriate comment to her, tried to grab her hand and then cycled off.

He is described as white, in his late teens to early twenties, 5ft10in tall, of average build, with shaven blond hair and wearing a dark blue shiny 'Adidas' tracksuit.

Meanwhile, police are still searching for a man in connection with the accosting of a six-year-old girl in Heath Road, Ipswich.

As the girl reached a bus stop a man approached her, took hold of her hand and pulled her towards him. The girl's grandmother shouted out to the man and he let go.

The man is described as white, about 30-years-old, tall and of chubby appearance. He had red hair shaved on top and longer at the back. He wore a black hooded top and white trainers.
