CAMPAIGNERS trying to have fencing removed from Mistley Quay are to tie protest ribbons to the barrier.
The stunt by Free the Quay protestors will take place from 10.30 am on Saturday with people tying yellow ribbons to the fence, which went up over a month ago.
The mass ribbon tying session will replace those ribbons, flowers and signs which were attached to the fence but taken down earlier this week by Trent Wharfage workers.
Ribbons and rags will be available on the day, but people are also encouraged to bring their own.
