Whitehouse Infant and Junior Schools in Ipswich successfully bid for £1,690,000, which will go towards helping the schools join together in a new building.
Jim Knight, minister for schools and learners said: “I am delighted that Whitehouse Infant and Juniors in Ipswich have successfully bid for £1,690,000. This will allow the schools to join together in a new building.
“The funding is being provided through the Standards and Diversity Targeted Capital Fund which provides support for improvement in standards and to increase parental choice and diversity of school provision across the system. So far £100 million has been provided through this programme across the country.”
