A FREDDIE Mercury tribute concert was A Kind Of Magic for everyone who attended, at the Belstead Brook Hotel, in Ipswich.

The charity event was organised by perennial fundraiser Bryan Ager, 49, of Landseer Road.

Another tribute evening bit the dust for Galloway coach driver Mr Ager who has already raised thousand for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

The Queen frontman was just the latest on a star-studded list of performers he has attracted to Ipswich, including Elvis, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr.

Under Pressure to put on yet another night of great entertainment, Mr Ager had One Vision for the Belstead Brook.

He said: “Billy West delivered an awe inspiring display of Freddie Mercury with superb accuracy. “Everyone enjoyed the show and were knocked out by the standard.”

Less people turned up to see Billy West do his thing than hoped but Mr Ager knew The Show Must Go On and it was Heaven for Everyone who went along.

Mr Ager said: “Despite the low turn out, it was a great night and a successful one.

“Many thanks to all who came and the people who donated prizes for the raffle and auction.”

Mr Ager also thanked the Belstead Brook, which has housed many of his charity events.

The next event planned is a Buddy Holly tribute show on February 6, again at the Belstead Brook.

The show will mark the 50th Anniversary of the plane crash that killed the rock n roll legend.

Ricky Valens and the Big Bopper will also feature in the second half of the show which is being provided by another of the UK's top tribute artists.

Bookings are already being made and tickets will be £35 each with a discount of 10 percent for parties of ten or more.
