A MAN has been arrested after an explosion in a police station.
The device went off in a store room in Kendal Police Station in Cumbria early last Saturday morning, causing a fire which was put out by police officers. Fire crews also attended. No-one was injured and there was limited damage.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing an explosion likely to endanger life and released on bail until July.
