DETECTIVES have launched an investigation following a robbery at an Ipswich bus stop.
The incident took place in Burrell Road, opposite the railway station, at about 6.30pm on February 25.
A 27-year-old man got off a bus when three men approached him.
They initially offered to buy his laptop but then one of the men grabbed the victim around the throat forcing him to hand over his laptop, wallet and mobile phone.
The men ran off towards Vernon Street.
The first is described as white, aged in his late 30s to early 40s, 5ft9ins to 6ft, of average build, with short black hair, stubble on his face and was wearing a dark coloured top. His right eyebrow was pierced.
The second man is described as white, aged in his early 30s, 6ft2ins to 6ft3ins, of stocky build, with a shaved head and was wearing blue jeans and a cream woollen-type top.
The third is described as white, 5ft8ins, of slim build, with short black hair and was wearing a black silky jacket.
