ELDERLY passengers had to leave their bus mid-journey today after it got stuck under a bridge.
The bus became wedged underneath a railway bridge just before midday today and Suffolk police were called to help get it out.
The accident in Coddenham Road, Needham Market, closed the road for around one hour while the community bus was moved by letting the tyres down as it was only the top of the bus that was caught.
There was no damage to the bridge and no one was hurt.
