The charity held their annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning across the UK today, in the hope of raising more than £7million.
Staff at the Colchester Road station decided to offer something a little more substantial than tea and biscuits to their hungry fire crew.
The station's catering manager, Angela Cable, 51, organised the event for the eighth time.
She said: “We cooked for the fire service personnel and some retired staff came along as well. In total there were around 40 people.”
The event was the second of its kind that Mrs Cable has arranged this year and it holds special significance for the Ipswich crew.
“We've had a lot of people touched with cancer here,” she said. “A few years ago, someone came up with the idea of having our own coffee morning to raise money.”
Those attending the fundraiser were offered a variety of breakfasts by Mrs Cable and her staff but most opted for the traditional fry-up.
“A few people went for the healthy option but most chose the full English of course,” she said.
