A BABY has been taken to hospital following a road accident in Ipswich today.Police say the accident happened at around 3.30pm in Rydal Walk and involved a car colliding with a young child.

Police say the accident happened at around 3.30pm in Rydal Walk and involved a car colliding with a young child.
The scene of the collision is currently cordoned off while police investigate the scene.
The child's injuries are described as “serious”.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said a one-year-old baby has been taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
