A CONMAN who passed forged notes at shops in Meredith Road, Ipswich, was being hunted by police today.The man passed counterfeit £20 notes to pay for low-value goods before leaving the shops early on Wednesday evening.
A CONMAN who passed forged notes at shops in Meredith Road, Ipswich, was being hunted by police today.
The man passed counterfeit £20 notes to pay for low-value goods before leaving the shops early on Wednesday evening.
The fraudster is described as a white male, aged in his mid to late 20s, with a large build, fairly short dark hair and a trimmed beard.
He was wearing brown boots, grey tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down each leg and a grey tracksuit top with white shoulders and white patches on the front and back.
He was with another male who was tanned, about 25 years old, of slim build, who was shorter than the first male and had short dark hair. He was wearing a green hooded top.
