CHILDREN with Down's syndrome have been clowning around during a charity fun day.
Ipswich-based LOADS (local opportunities and awareness of Down 's syndrome) hosted the event at Trinity Park which saw circus professionals show off their skills and encourage the youngsters to join in.
Sharon Hobbs, vice chair of the charity, said she expected the event to have raised thousands of pounds for the cause.
She added: “Between 2,500 and 3,000 people came so it was really popular.
“The aim of the day was to give the youngsters some fun and the parents too. It meant the children could experience things they had never tried before as they were able to try some of the circus skills.”
