Fire crews are at the scene of a large fire in a derelict Brantham factory.The fire is in the Wardle Storeys Plc building on Factory Lane, and started shortly before 3.50pm.
Fire crews were called to a large fire in a derelict Brantham factory.
The fire was at the Wardle Storeys Plc building on Factory Lane, and started shortly before 3.50pm.
One building, 100 metres by 30 metres containing plastic was alight and seven fire engines attended from Ipswich, Manningtree, Felixstowe, Holbrook, Hadleigh and Sudbury.
The main fire in the building was extinguished by 6.30pm and firefighters are damping down.
There is no information yet about whether the fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
