FIREFIGHTERS in Suffolk have been involved in tackling a series of blazes overnight.A crew from Princes Street, Ipswich, was called to the car park in Commercial Road in the town following reports of a car on fire at 11.13pm yesterday.
FIREFIGHTERS in Suffolk have been involved in tackling a series of blazes overnight.
A crew from Princes Street, Ipswich, was called to the car park in Commercial Road in the town following reports of a car on fire at 11.13pm yesterday.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a single hose reel to control the flames by 11.21pm.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
Then at 2.55am today a crew attended Canterbury Close, Stoke Park, after reports of a wheelie bin and fence on fire.
A waterfog was used to control the flames by 3.23am.
A crew from Debenham was also called into action at shortly after 3am after a fire was reported at a farm on the B1078 at Ashbocking.
Two bales of waste straw were found ablaze and a single hose reel was used to control the flames by 3.23am.
