POLICE have today renewed their appeal for information about the whereabouts of a missing Halesworth woman.

Doreen Coe, 65, was last seen on the morning of Monday, April 9 and her family and police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is well-known in the Halesworth area but there have been no sightings of her in the town in the last week.

Police believe she may have caught a train to Ipswich or London and are asking anyone who got a train from Halesworth early last week to cast their minds back in case they saw the missing pensioner.

She is described as white, 5ft 5in, of larger build with collar length blonde-grey hair and is a smoker.

At the time of her disappearance she is thought to have been wearing a creamy-white headscarf with a brown pattern, a long black button-up coat, black ankle socks and silver ballet-type shoes.

Anyone with information should call Beccles police on 01986 835300.
