MOTORISTS are today being advised to take extra care after heavy rains overnight. Tony Woodward, control room supervisor at Martlesham police head quarters, said officers had received a number of reports of flooding on minor roads at various locations across the county.

Tony Woodward, control room supervisor at Martlesham police head quarters, said officers had received a number of reports of flooding on minor roads at various locations across the county.
He said: “We are advising drivers to take care especially on the back roads due to flooding as a result of overnight rain.”
