MOTORISTS who had to face chaos last night on Suffolk's roads due to strong winds were waking up to a brighter morning today.
The Orwell Bridge, which was shut yesterday afternoon, was re-opened this morning and flowing freely.
The A14, near to the junction with the A140 in the Bury bound carriageway, was re-opened after 8pm yesterday after a lorry had turned over.
However Franciscan Way, in Ipswich, remained closed this morning because of unsafe scaffolding.
