FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Suffolk high school last night. A crew from Normanshurst station was called to the Benjamin Britten High School, in Blyford Road, Lowestoft, shortly after 6pm.

A crew from Normanshurst station was called to the Benjamin Britten High School, in Blyford Road, Lowestoft, at 6.20pm.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said bushes were on fire in the grounds of the school.
She added: “The fire was brought under control at 6.36pm. One hose reel jet was used.”
In a separate incident a crew from Colchester Road Station, in Ipswich, were called to a car fire in Whitton Church Lane shortly after 9am.
The fire was brought under control at 9.15am.
