SIZEWELL A's site should be returned to its natural state as soon as possible at the end of the decommissioning process, according to the consultative committee which monitors activity at the site.
The committee, made up of local residents and representatives from the operators of both Sizewell A and Sizewell B, recommended the move after speaking to local people - however the final decommissioning of the plant is not expected to start until 2110, long after most people alive today will have died.
