A popular Ipswich-based theatre and film company has revealed it is to build a new theatre that is set to become a centrepiece of arts in the town.
The company, Red Rose Chain, has joined forces with one of the developers who are transforming the Waterfront from an industrial centre into a modern and vibrant area full of new homes, restaurants, bars and shops.
The Witchbottle Theatre, which has been named after an unusual artefact found during archaeological excavations, will be a focal point for the Waterfront community and offer more choice to Ipswich's theatregoers.
