EIGHT fire crews have dealt with a blaze of more than 20 acres of field crops in Stratford St Mary.
EIGHT fire crews have dealt with a blaze of more than 20 acres of field crops in Stratford St Mary.
Firefighters were called to Higham Road at 11.30pm yesterday which took around 50minutes to bring the blaze under control.
Earlier, at 11pm, two crews from Felixstowe went to Runnacles Way where two sections of a railway embankment were alight.
Also, at 9.15pm, Ipswich firefighters spent around 15minutes tackling a derelict car fire behind Foxhall Stadium, Foxhall Road.
