MANAGERS at Ipswich's newest nightclub today spoke of their successful first night, which featured Big Brother celeb Glyn Wise.
The Channel 4 programme's runner-up swapped the Welsh Valleys for Ipswich's Cardinal Park to help celebrate the opening of Liquid Envy
And according to the Cardinal Park club's general manager Dan Guerche, Glyn's appearance was a popular choice.
He said: “Glyn went down a storm with everyone, he was a great hit. I'm absolutely delighted with the customers on the evening who all made such a great effort for the opening night and seemed to enjoy the night.
“I intend to bring in more top entertainment to Ipswich.”
The club, formally known as Liquid, has undergone a £2 million make-over with two rooms, Envy for over-25s and Liquid for over-18s
Glyn's appearance was part of a major opening night party following the club's 14-week closure. It was said to be the first-time the teenager had been to a nightclub as he turned 18 in the Big Brother house.
The venue was packed with 1,500 people on Friday, who chanted Glyn's name and asked him Big Brother-related questions for around an hour.
