AN IPSWICH man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with a fire in a tent which was in the front garden of a town centre home.Clothing, bedding, CDs and personal belongings were destroyed in the blaze which took place in Woodhouse Square, off Rope Walk at around 6.
AN IPSWICH man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with a fire in a tent which was in the front garden of a town centre home.
Clothing, bedding, CDs and personal belongings were destroyed in the blaze which took place in Woodhouse Square, off Rope Walk at around 6.30pm yesterday.
A fire crew from Princes Street took less than ten minutes to douse the flames.
A 45-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 01473 613500.
