A CAR burst into flames after it was involved in a crash in Leather Bottle Hill, Little Blakenham.
The incident, which involved two cars, happened at 7.15pm on Saturday and one of the drivers received medical treatment but were thought to have suffered only minor injuries.
Fire crews were also called to Lakenheath at 10.22pm on Saturday after a BMW car hit a tree and four people had to be released from inside.
The crash happened in Undley Road and fire crews from Brandon, Mildenhall and Thetford attended and released the passengers by 11.36pm.
Three of the casualties were taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds and one was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.
All four were said to have suffered serious injuries.
