MOTORISTS faced rush hour chaos in Ipswich today when three lorries and a 4x4 collided on the A14 at Copdock.
Traffic became gridlocked on the Felixstowe bound carriageway when the vehicles collided at shortly before 5pm.
Motorists faced queues into Ipswich following the collision and later faced further delays due to the ongoing safety inspection on the Orwell Bridge.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said there had been only minor injuries and officers were working to reopen one lane of the road as soon as possible.
