Fire, police and ambulance crews were called after two cars collided on the Farnham bend, close to the caravan sales centre.
The accident happened at around 11.45am today.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We took five casualties to Ipswich Hospital and one of those was a baby."
Traffic was disrupted for some time but the road is now back to normal.
