SUFFOLK-raised BNP leader Nick Griffin was today charged with four race hate offences when he reported to a police station in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
SUFFOLK-raised BNP leader Nick Griffin was today charged with four race hate offences when he reported to a police station in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
People of all ages held "Fighting For Democracy" placards and cheered as a bagpiper played when Griffin appeare at the police station.
Griffin, who was brought up at Huntingfield, near Halesworth, has been leader of the BNP since the mid-1990s and unsuccessfully stood for parliament in 2001.
He now lives in mid-Wales.
