A FACTORY blaze broke out today close to Suffolk's border with Norfolk.The fire started at shortly after 7.30am at Hi-Rel Lids Limited in Harleston, Norfolk.
A FACTORY blaze broke out today close to Suffolk's border with Norfolk.
The fire started at shortly after 7.30am at Hi-Rel Lids Limited in Harleston, Norfolk.
One fire engine from Harleston attended the scene and requested assistance as smoke was billowing from the building.
Fire engines from Diss and Hethersett then arrived at the blaze in Fuller Road.
Chemicals were leaking from the building into the waterways and the water board was also called to offer assistance.
Gas cylinders were also involved in the blaze.
The fire is believed to have been put out at shortly before 8.45am but crews were still at the scene at 10am awaiting the arrival of the owner.
