AN Ipswich man today appeared before the Old Bailey charged with having details about how to set off a bomb with a mobile phone.
Frenchman Jacques Karim Abi-Ayad, 39, of Gippeswyk Road, was remanded in custody to face trial on November 22.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge under the Terrorism Act of having documents which could be useful to a terrorist.
The charge alleges that on or before April 2 he had documents relating to making explosives from household items, notes and sketches for potentially viable explosives and details on how to detonate an explosive device with a mobile phone.
