A MAN who sniffed glue in front of two children has been charged with possessing cannabis.Police were alerted by concerned members of the public who saw Michael Snowling, 35, sitting on the grass in Whitton Church Lane, Ipswich, and sniffing glue, said prosecutor Godfried Duah.

Police were alerted by concerned members of the public who saw Michael Snowling, 35, sitting on the grass in Whitton Church Lane, Ipswich, and sniffing glue, said prosecutor Godfried Duah.
"His wife and two young children were with him," Mr Duah told South East Suffolk Magistrates.
"It was alleged the children became extremely upset."
Police spoke to Snowling who swore at the officers. He was arrested for disorderly behaviour.
In a search at the police station Snowling, of 30 Shakespeare Road, Ipswich, was found with 1.25 gms of cannabis, worth £5.25, for his own use.
He admitted disorderly behaviour and having the drug.
Representing himself Snowling, a father of six, said he had nothing else to add.
Bench chairwoman Vicky Sears fined Snowling £100 for the disorderly behaviour and £50 for possessing cannabis. He was also ordered to pay £20 towards costs.
"Your behaviour caused alarm to two young children who were in fact your own," said Mrs Sears.
"That is why you have a heavier fine on that matter."
