A ROBBER armed with an iron bar struck at an Ipswich town centre shop in broad daylight today.
The offender walked into the office area of the Superdrug store in Westgate Street at about 10.30am.
He demanded money from the male shop assistant, believed to be in his 20s, while threatening him with what appeared to be an iron bar.
The shop assistant went to the safe and handed over an undisclosed quantity of cash.
