A MAJOR rescue operation was under way today after at least three people were injured in a crash between an bus and a lorry in Ipswich town centre.Initial reports said the bus driver, a passenger and the truck driver had been hurt in the collision which happened at the junction of Princes Street and Chancery Road just after 1pm.

Initial reports said the bus driver, a passenger and the truck driver had been hurt in the collision which happened at the junction of Princes Street and Chancery Road just after 1pm.
A spokesman for the East Anglian Ambulance Service confirmed that three people had been taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
The impact left the lorry driver trapped and injured in his cab.
