A radio station has been reprimanded for holding an on-air sweepstake in which listeners predicted when Myra Hindley would die.
The Moors Murderer had been given her last rites at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds when the station - Manchester's Key 103 - offered £500 for the caller who chose the correct hour of her death.
Broadcasting regulator the Radio Authority said that while Hindley was a suitable topic for discussion, the item was in "bad taste".
