TWO women have today spoken of living with the aftermath of a violent attack they suffered at the hands of a regular in their pub.
Lois and Sarah Batten, licensees of the Rose and Crown pub, in Norwich Road, Ipswich, were both left injured and shaken after one of their regulars launched an attack on them.
It is the latest tale in a series of violent attacks on small businesses, which yesterday saw an Ipswich
postmaster badly beaten by intruders.
Painter and decorator Mark Baines was sentenced to four months in jail after being found guilty of assaulting Lois and Sarah at the pub.
Sarah claims she had to spend three days in bed recovering from her injuries after 45-year-old Baines, who was a regular at the pub, launched his attack.
