THREE people were arrested today following a demonstration in which purple paint was splattered over the door of an Ipswich office.
Five protesters waving placards and displaying banners huddled outside the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS) in Foundation Street, Ipswich at around 10.30am today.
They were demonstrating over "unfair" treatment fathers receive in court custody battles.
They claim CAFCASS workers are "under-trained" and "under-resourced". that means that their decisions "often result in the breaking of the sacred bond between parent and child for no reason".
The protesters said the reason why they splashed purple paint over the former white door of the offices is because purple stands for equality.
Police arrived at around 11.30am and arrested two men and a woman.
Police confiscated paint brushes and paint from the protestors.
