PARENTS are being urged by police to warn their children of the dangers of talking to strangers or accepting lifts after the accosting of two children in Ipswich.
PARENTS are being urged by police to warn their children of the dangers of talking to strangers or accepting lifts after the accosting of two children in Ipswich.
At around 6.15pm yesterday two girls aged 13 and 11 years were walking in Cambridge Drive, Ipswich when they were approached by two men in a car.
The men called out to the girls asking them whether they would like a lift. The girls declined.
When the men called out to the girls again they ran off to seek help. The car drove off down Cambridge Drive towards Birkfield Drive.
The driver of the red car is described as of Eastern European appearance, 20-30 years old, with dark hair and wearing a blue t-shirt.
