THESE two young thugs are suspected of committing dozens of crimes – yet their identity cannot be revealed today.
Magistrates have refused The Evening Star's application to name the pair of yobs in the public interest - despite the fact that one of the teenagers attacked a man with a baseball bat, for which he is now serving four months' detention.
The other has to carry out a community action plan but also has a court case pending for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Even one of the defence solicitors admitted his client's actions were "totally unacceptable."
Their identity will remain protected, while the innocent who were terrorised on an estate in east Ipswich still cannot be told their names.
