FIREFIGHTERS were called to Handford Hall Primary School after a fire was started in two wheelie bins outside the school.Smoke from the fire spread into the school building, on Sirdar Road, Ipswich, although no one was injured.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Handford Hall Primary School after a fire was started in two wheelie bins outside the school.
Smoke from the fire spread into the school building, on Sirdar Road, Ipswich, although no one was injured.
The fire was reported at 2.45pm and brought under control at 3.30pm.
Four breathing apparatus and one hose reel was used. Three fire appliances attended the fire from Colchester Road and Princes Street, Ipswich.
A police spokesman said the cause of the fire was unknown and that investigations would be launched.
