A FELIXSTOWE pensioner is no longer gnome-alone after today being reunited with his missing concrete pals.
Police revealed that they had recovered nine out of the ten garden gnomes taken from George Long's garden in Elizabeth Way.
A 17-year-old male youth has been charged with theft of the gnomes, worth about £100. He will appear before the youth court sitting at Ipswich on Tuesday, July 2.
Mr Long, 72, had almost 200 gnomes, but has only been left with just over a dozen after they vanished, one by one, from his garden during the past two years.
The garden ornaments, which vary in size up to 18 inches tall, were bought for him by his grandchildren for him to hand-paint.
