POLICE are hunting a man who held a handgun to a woman's head during a robbery in Ipswich late last night.The incident happened at a "late night sauna" in Norwich Road, Ipswich, at 10.
POLICE are hunting a man who held a handgun to a woman's head during a robbery in Ipswich late last night.
The incident happened at a "late night sauna" in Norwich Road, Ipswich, at 10.50pm and sparked a search involving a helicopter and police tracker dogs.
The man, wearing a red bandana, had threatened the woman in the premises before stealing a bag.
Insp Mike Hinshelwood, of Suffolk police, said: "Any pedestrians in the town centre end of Norwich Road and surrounding streets who may have seen the offender should contact Ipswich CID."
The gun-wielding man was wearing a two-tone blue shirt as well as the bandana. Anyone with information should call Ipswich police on 01473 613500.
