FLEDGLING insurance giant, Direct Motorline, has been granted special recognition as its headquarters were officially opened.
The company, which started operating just nine months ago, operates out of Hubbard House, in Civic Drive, Ipswich, and was founded by Graeme Kalbraier after he sold his successful Anglia Countrywide business to Churchill Insurance.
The new venture received its certification, to BS EN ISO9001:2000, from Mike James, general manager of Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
The new company, which started operating in April last year, now employs 80 people and has 12,000 clients across the country.
"We are expanding at the rate of 500 clients a week which is very encouraging," said Mr Kalbraier.
He said the certification was recognition that the company complied with very high standards for customer service and providing a quality product.
