Police are investigating after a group of men broke into a store in Ipswich and stole alcohol and cigarettes in the early hours of this morning.
Suffolk police officers were called shortly after 4.15am to the East of England Co-op store, Rushmere Foodstore, in Selkirk Road.
A police spokeswoman said four men dressed in dark clothing smashed the front window to gain access to the store and steal alcohol and cigarettes.
The quartet then escaped in a white saloon car, which is described as possibly being a Ford Sierra.
One of the men is described as wearing a black hooded top with a white stripe.
Investigating officers asking anyone who was in the area between 4am and 5am, or anyone with information to call 101.
