A TOWN academy has refused to detail its GSCE results until a review is carried out into the boundaries of the English grades.
Ipswich Academy, in Lindburgh Road, Ipswich, told The Ipswich Star that the Learning Schools Trust family of academies were “unable to release a final figure for GCSE results” because they are in discussions with the exam board.
Nancy Robinson, principal of the academy, said: “What I can say , however, is that we have made good progress in most areas particularly Maths and ICT. We are very proud of all our students and staff who have worked extremely hard.”
She added: “Next year our results will show greater improvement as this will be the first cohort of students who have studied our personalised curriculum model. Watch this space.”
