A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after an incident in Ipswich this afternoon.
Suffolk police scrambled three cars to the probation office in Lower Brook Street just before 1.30pm.
Officers were alerted to a man, who appeared to be drunk, and was being aggressive, throwing chairs and tables at windows and refusing to leave the building.
A 30-year-old man, from the Ipswich area, was subsequently arrested by officers on suspicion of criminal damage.
He is currently in police custody at Martlesham police investigation centre.
